Physiotherapy can help with a wide range of muscle and joint problems as well as well as helping restore movement and function due to illness or disability.” For further information about physiotherapy click here

Seeing a Physiotherapist

You don’t need to see a GP for a referral and seeing a physio for joint and muscle problems directly is a good idea. If the physio has any concerns regarding your condition , they will ask you to see your GP.

You can self-refer to NHS physiotherapy here. The current waiting time varies between 6 and 10 weeks.

Many patients are happy to see a physio on a private, fee paying basis as the waiting time is very much less (usually within 7 days). For our patient’s convenience, private physio is available here in the surgery from ARC physio services – further details including  their services, charges and on line booking can be found here.

(Please note the GPs have no commercial links with ARC services- this service is offered purely for patient convenience as it is based in the surgery).
