Local Steroid Injections available:

We offer steroid injections for painful joints such as knees (osteoarthritis) and shoulders (impingement, frozen shoulder, rotator cuff strains, osteoarthritis)

We also offer injections for trochanteric bursitis and trigger finger (see below)

A steroid mixture can be injected into a joint to reduce inflammation and pain. It is known as a local injection because it works on a particular area of the body. It is an option for symptom control.

When: Fortnightly on a Friday.

Booking: With reception on recommendation by your GP/ nurse practitioner or directly by reception if you have had successful joint injections in the past and would like a further injection.

The receptionist may make you a phone appointment with Dr Hepple prior to this if there are any queries.
