Urgent and routine appointments
Consultations are by appointment only. To request an appointment during opening times:
- use the Accurx service (available 08:00–18:30) to send us an online consultation.
- phone us on 01452 899 762 (Mon–Thu 8:00–18:30, Fri 8:00–18:00). Between 1–2pm, and 6–6:30pm Fridays, our message service can contact us if needed.
- use your NHS account (via the NHS website or NHS App) or Patient Access to book appointments, screening tests, or vaccinations.
Receptionists will ask questions to ensure there is enough information for the clinician to review your request. They are fully trained and your confidentiality is always respected.
We now assess all requests based on urgency, not on a first-come, first-served basis. A clinician will review your responses to decide which doctor, nurse, or healthcare professional is best placed to help you.
Please use the system responsibly. Submit a separate form for each issue. For bespoke forms (e.g. sick notes or prescription requests), include only information relevant to that request – any additional issues will not be processed.

Home visits
For home visits during surgery hours, please ring the surgery to request this as early as possible on the day before 10:30am.
When required, Doctors will visit patients in their own homes. In order to meet the needs of all our patients, it is important that doctors are not called unnecessarily to visit patients at home. Home visits should be reserved for patients who are housebound or are physically too unwell to attend the surgery.
The majority of patients, including children with acute illness, can be brought safely to surgery where they can be examined without significant delay. This also applies to the out of hours GPs’ on call service where patients should attend the treatment centre whenever possible. Lack of transport should not be used as the reason for a visit request.
